The statistical population included all female students studying at junior high schools in Fasa during the 2024–2025 academic year. Based on Morgan’s table, a total of 150 female students were selected through a multistage cluster sampling method. The research instruments included the Matson Evaluation of Social Skills (1983), the Academic Boredom Questionnaire by Reijsiger et al. (2020), and the Davis Interpersonal Reactivity Index (1983). Data were analyzed using AMOS software and the structural equation modeling (SEM) method at a 95% confidence level. The results indicated that the path coefficient of social skills to empathy was 0.71, social skills to academic boredom was −0.29, empathy to academic boredom was −0.28, and social skills indirectly affected academic boredom through empathy by −0.196.

Abstract The present study aimed to examine the impact of studying at coeducational universities on factors related to successful marriage among female students. This research was quantitative in nature and employed a descriptive–survey methodology. The statistical population consisted of female students of Islamic Azad University in Eqlid County, from whom 100 participants were selected through convenience sampling. The data collection tool was a 24-item Marriage Interest Questionnaire, designed based on a five-point Likert scale, measuring four main components: feedback on marriage, readiness and willingness to marry, attitudes toward marriage outcomes, and marriage barriers. The internal consistency of the questionnaire, assessed using Cronbach’s alpha, was 0.89, indicating satisfactory reliability and validity. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and independent t-tests in SPSS software. Results showed a significant difference in the mean scores of the components of feedback on marriage, attitudes toward marriage outcomes, and marriage barriers among students in the coeducational environment (p < 0.05), whereas the readiness and willingness to marry component did not reach a significant level. The findings suggest that studying at a coeducational university can enhance female students’ awareness and attitudes toward marriage; however, converting positive attitudes into practical readiness for marriage requires targeted educational, cultural, and supportive interventions. Accordingly, designing skill-development programs, pre-marital counseling, and institutional support can play an effective role in facilitating informed and successful marriages among students.

The research analyzes various contributing factors such as family problems, peer pressure, psychological issues, easy access to alcohol, and economic difficulties, and investigates their impact on the educational and psychological behaviors of female students. The sample consisted of 300 female high school students in Shiraz. The results showed that the most significant causes of alcohol consumption among this group were family problems and peer pressure. Moreover, alcohol use had considerable negative effects on students’ academic performance and mental health, particularly in areas such as depression, anxiety, and sleep disorders. Ultimately, this study emphasizes the necessity of educational and counseling interventions to prevent alcohol addiction and reduce its adverse effects on the academic and psychological well-being of female students.

Abstract Place attachment is a key concept in environmental psychology and human geography, referring to individuals' emotional, social, and functional bonds with places. Urban public spaces, particularly those that facilitate social interactions and shared experiences, can enhance this attachment. The café-restaurant area of the Royal Commercial Complex in Saadat Abad is one such space that has attracted female students due to its distinctive features, making it a gathering spot for socialization and leisure. This study aims to examine the factors influencing female students' place attachment to this space by exploring the impact of physical, social, cultural, and individual characteristics on the level of attachment. The research employs a mixed-methods approach. In the qualitative phase, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 20 female students who regularly frequented the café-restaurant area. Content analysis of these interviews identified key components affecting place attachment. Based on these findings, a questionnaire was designed and administered to 200 students in the quantitative phase. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation tests, and regression analysis to determine the impact of each identified factor. The results indicate that place attachment in this space is shaped by a combination of physical, social, and experiential factors. Among these, physical attributes such as spatial design, lighting, and layout, along with opportunities for social interaction and shared memories, had the most significant impact on fostering attachment. Social factors, including the presence of like-minded groups, a sense of comfort in interactions, and the possibility of collective experiences, played a crucial role in students' repeated visits to the location. Furthermore, past experiences and positive memories associated with the space enhanced users’ sense of belonging. These findings suggest that place attachment is not merely an individual response but rather a product of social interactions, shared memories, and the quality of the physical environment, evolving over time.

A sample of 300 female students from the Isfahan University of Technology was selected by voluntary sampling method. The Nef Self-Compassion Scale, Beck, et al.'s (1990) Self-Esteem Scale, and Connor et al.'s (2000) Social Anxiety Inventory were used to collect data. The methods of this study are causal (1983). Respectively the reliability and validity of the questionnaire were evaluated using conventional methods. For data analysis, statistical methods of Kolmogorov–Smirnov, Pearson correlation, regression, ANOVA, and structural models were used. All the present data were analyzed using SPSS software version 20. The results clearly show that the family plays an influential role in the sports participation development of female students of the Islamic Azad University of Shiraz. It should be noted that the role of families in promoting female students' sports participation is of particular interest.
