Abstract The Quranic perspective on women’s identity symbols, in both their internal and external dimensions, aligns their performance and behavior with values, respect, dignity, and protection within the faithful community. These symbols not only have a deep connection with Islamic culture and teachings but also manifest the religious values and beliefs, as well as the dignity and status of Muslim women. The present study aims to answer the question: Based on Quranic foundations, what symbols encompass the external identity of women in the faithful community? A descriptive-analytical examination of this issue indicates that the symbolic behavior of women, rooted in their innate nature and inner self, is particularly emphasized through actionable symbols, especially for Muslim women. The expression of human external behaviors is the result of their inner inclinations, and every inner inclination stems from rational and practical insight. Cultivating and refining these inner characteristics, in alignment with the specific roles of women in the human social system, leads to the emergence and manifestation of virtuous traits in them. Due to their unique creation, these manifestations are more prominent in women than in men. The significant function of Quranic symbolism in presenting and elucidating the external identity of Muslim women lies in conveying meaning and fostering a sense of identity through symbols such as chastity, modesty, compassion, and devotion. Faithful women, by embodying the symbols of their external identity within the faithful community, can effectively be introduced as role models for all of humanity.

Abstract Spirituality and religious beliefs are among the most important factors that can protect individuals against various physical and psychological problems. Therefore, considering the significance of this issue, the present study aimed to examine the spiritual and religious factors that influence the reduction of illness anxiety disorder symptoms in Iranian women. This research was qualitative in nature and employed the latent content analysis method. The study population included seven mental health specialists and seven Iranian women, who were selected through purposive sampling and interviewed using a semi-structured format until theoretical saturation was achieved.Analysis of the findings led to the identification of five main categories: having hope and motivation, inner belief and faith in God, adherence to religious principles, serenity and tolerance, and having meaning in life. The results indicate that spiritual and religious components can be effectively utilized to reduce psychological problems such as somatic symptom disorders, particularly illness anxiety disorder, among women.

Abstract The social transformations of the 2010s, and particularly the events of 2022, demonstrated that women have become one of the most significant focal points of perceptual and media confrontation against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Nevertheless, prevailing analyses often either reduce women to emotional and reactive actors or frame them within the narratives of foreign media as drivers of social rupture. Employing a descriptive–analytical method and relying on documented data, the present study seeks to reveal the actual role of women in the perceptual and normative dynamics of Iranian society through a three-level theoretical framework encompassing post-crisis institutional damages, patterns of women’s agency during periods of crisis, and mechanisms of social order reconstruction in the post-crisis phase. The findings indicate that cognitive operations targeting women through the salience of issues such as dress, dignity, social vitality, maternal roles, and civic participation aim to undermine perceptual cohesion and generate identity fragmentation. However, women’s soft capacities within the family sphere, women-centered social institutions, and local networks have largely neutralized these operations and facilitated the restoration of perceptual and normative fractures. The analysis further shows that by strengthening emotional authorities, redefining the boundary between legitimate protest and disorder, stabilizing the national narrative, and reproducing social capital, women have emerged as key actors in guiding society from perceptual instability toward social organization. Accordingly, the study concludes that understanding the role of women in contemporary Iran must move beyond emotionalized analyses and be rearticulated within the frameworks of “post-crisis order-building” and “collective perception management” a shift that renders the empowerment of women within governance and social institutions a strategic necessity for social security and national stability.

Abstract According to recent statistics, at least 20 percent of men have committed infidelity at least once during their marriage. However, determining the prevalence rate of infidelity in Iran is not possible due to its taboo nature. Despite infidelity being the most painful violation in the marital bond, its prevalence has increased in recent decades. The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of emotion-focused therapy on distress tolerance in women affected by infidelity. This research, in terms of its objective, is an applied study, and in terms of its methodology, it is a quasi-experimental study with a pre-test and post-test design without a control group. The data collection tools in this study were the Distress Tolerance Scale by Simmons and Gaher (2005) and the Standard Marital Infidelity Questionnaire by Yenisari and Kokdemir (2006). Based on the study design, the sample consisted of 8 women affected by infidelity, who were purposefully selected according to the research criteria and were placed in the treatment group. They responded to the questionnaires in two stages: pre-test and post-test. Data analysis was conducted using the Pearson correlation coefficient test in SPSS software at two levels: descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of this study showed that emotion-focused therapy can significantly reduce emotional distress in women affected by infidelity. Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that emotion-focused therapy is effective in increasing emotional distress tolerance.

Abstract The role of women in preventing the spread of deviant social behaviors is regarded as one of the fundamental components in promoting the cultural and moral well-being of society. The present study, conducted with the aim of examining the theoretical, historical, and practical dimensions of this role from the perspective of religious teachings, employed a qualitative, review–analytical method to analyze Islamic sources, previous studies, and propose practical strategies. At the outset, the concept of social deviance and the factors contributing to its emergence were clarified from the viewpoints of sociology, psychology, and religious studies. Subsequently, through the examination of religious foundations and concepts—such as the role of women in nurturing future generations, their social functions, and their position in Islam—the capacities of women in the prevention of social harms were analyzed. The review of domestic and international studies revealed that strengthening religious beliefs, family support, and the active social participation of women have a significant impact in reducing deviant behaviors such as violence, addiction, family disintegration, and youth identity crises. Furthermore, by investigating exemplary figures from Islamic history such as Lady Fatimah, Lady Zaynab, and contemporary intellectual women, the effective agency of women in managing moral and social crises was underscored. In the final section, strategies were proposed on three levels—educational, cultural, and institutional—that may strengthen the role of women in curbing social deviance. The findings conclude that women, in the religious framework, are not only the cornerstone of family stability but also active agents of social transformation. Therefore, the purposeful utilization of women’s intellectual, moral, and educational capacities offers an effective pathway in preventing the spread of social harms in society.

Abstract Women's financial literacy is a key factor in household well-being and in the financial socialization of children. However, research shows that women's financial literacy levels are generally lower than those of men. One possible explanation lies in individual psychological traits such as financial self-efficacy. Accordingly, the present study aims to investigate the effect of financial self-efficacy on women's financial literacy. The statistical population consists of all women in Yazd province in the year 2024, and based on the recommended formula for structural equation modeling, a sample of 383 individuals was selected. Data on individual characteristics were collected using standardized questionnaires assessing women's interest in financial resources and available information, fear of financial matters, and strong emotional dependencies on money and investment. For measuring financial literacy, a standardized financial literacy questionnaire covering three dimensions—financial knowledge, financial attitude, and financial behavior—was used. The research hypotheses were tested using the structural equation modeling approach via Smart PLS software. The results indicate that financial self-efficacy has a significant and direct effect on financial knowledge, financial attitude, and financial behavior. Therefore, to improve women’s financial literacy, it is essential to not only provide financial education but also focus on developing such individual traits.

Abstract The declining tendency toward childbearing in recent decades has raised concerns among scholars in various fields across Iran. This study aimed to explore the perceptions and attitudes of employed women in South Tehran toward childbearing. Conducted using a qualitative method and a phenomenological approach, the research gathered data through in-depth interviews. The findings indicate that employed women’s attitudes toward childbearing have undergone significant changes due to recent social, cultural, and economic transformations. Participants no longer view childbearing as a traditional necessity, but rather as a decision dependent on personal, economic, professional, and lifestyle factors. Many cited concerns such as the inability to afford child-rearing expenses, difficulties in balancing motherhood with professional roles, and anxiety about their children’s future as key reasons for their reduced willingness to have children.Overall, the results suggest that the new understanding of motherhood and fertility among employed women has led them toward more conscious decision-making and, in some cases, avoidance of childbearing altogether. This shift in perspective may be considered one of the contributing factors to declining fertility rates in urban areas, particularly among working women.

Abstract Caregiving is fundamental to human relationships and plays a decisive role in the quality and stability of marital relationships. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the mediating role of caregiving dimensions in the relationship between sexual satisfaction and sexual desire in women. The research was applied in nature, utilizing a descriptive-correlational method through structural equation modeling. The statistical population consisted of all married women visiting cultural centers in Isfahan from May to June 2024. Based on Kline’s model, 200 participants were selected using convenience sampling, considering inclusion and exclusion criteria. Informed consent was obtained from the selected participants, and they were assured that confidentiality and ethical standards would be upheld regarding the research results. Participants completed the Caregiving Scale by Kunce and Shaver (1994), the Sexual Desire Inventory by Hulbert (1992), and the Hudson Sexual Satisfaction Scale (1992). Data were analyzed using Pearson’s correlation coefficient and path analysis with SPSS22 and AMOS software. The results indicated that caregiving dimensions mediate the relationship between sexual satisfaction and sexual desire in women. Additionally, the model demonstrated a good fit (P<0.01). The findings suggest that sexual desire alone cannot fully and directly explain sexual satisfaction, and caregiving, as a sensitive and responsive behavior, acts as a mediator and enhancer of this relationship.

Abstract Sexual health is defined as a physical, emotional, mental, and social state related to sexuality and sexual matters, and it is not merely the absence of disease, disorder, or dysfunction. Like other human behaviors, sexual behavior is influenced by an individual's knowledge and attitude toward gender and sexual issues. A prerequisite for healthy sexual behavior is having accurate sexual knowledge and an appropriate attitude, as thoughts, attitudes, and values constitute essential components of sexual behavior and serve as key factors affecting sexual responses. This study aimed to examine the evolution of gender stereotypical beliefs over the past five decades and investigate the impact of education on the level of such beliefs among women over the last 50 years. The statistical population consisted of five generations of married women residing in Fars Province between 2021 and 2022. Using convenience sampling, 500 married women from Fars participated by completing demographic and gender stereotype questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson correlation, regression analysis, MANOVA, and ANOVA in SPSS-26. The Pearson correlation coefficient results indicated a negative relationship between women's gender stereotypical beliefs and education. The regression analysis showed that the regression model explained 23% of the variance in gender stereotypical beliefs, with education being a significant predictor. Additionally, MANOVA results demonstrated a downward trend in gender stereotypical beliefs over the past 50 years. The findings suggest a shift in women's perspectives and attitudes toward gender-related taboos. While women's education levels have significantly increased over the past five decades, their sexual knowledge has shown only a minimal rise.

Abstract Choosing an appropriate leadership style can significantly improve employee performance, increase job satisfaction, and strengthen organizational commitment. This study aimed to investigate the role of humble leadership style in enhancing the organizational commitment of women employees in the city of Tabriz. The research was fundamental in nature and employed a descriptive-correlational approach (path analysis). The sample consisted of 150 women employed in private organizations in Tabriz, selected using a convenience sampling method in 2023. Data were collected using the humble leadership style questionnaire by Evans et al. (2013) and the organizational commitment questionnaire by Allen and Meyer (1990). Data analysis revealed that humble leadership style has a positive and significant impact on organizational commitment. These findings highlight the importance of adopting humble leadership style in private organizations, which often face challenges such as high competition, retention of talented human resources, and increased productivity. Humble leadership style can serve as an effective approach to enhancing employee motivation and job commitment, especially for women employees. Given that women in the workplace may encounter additional barriers, fostering their organizational commitment through the humble support and guidance of managers can significantly contribute to improving organizational performance. This approach not only boosts employee motivation but also facilitates the long-term retention and development of human capital.

Abstract Can folk knowledge and women in rural communities serve as catalysts, significantly contributing to achievement of sustainable development, or conversely, delay this process? The present study, as a "short report article," aims to examine and clarify the role of women and folk knowledge in sustainable rural development by investigating the economic conditions, employment, and agricultural products in 30 villages of South Khorasan Province. Drawing on Durkheim's theory of the division of labor—offering a distinctive perspective that contrasts with the principles of modernization theory in explaining developmental barriers—this study adopts a qualitative approach. Data were collected through document-based, using content analysis as the primary technique. Findings from studies conducted in these villages reveal a meaningful relationship between folk knowledge and sustainable rural development, as well as the significant role of women. Durkheim’s theoretical classification of societies demonstrates the progression of communities rather than the backwardness of primitive societies as an obstacle to any form of development.

Abstract This review article explores the complex relationship between women, lifestyle, and prayer in Islam, with special emphasis on incorporating psychological perspectives. The purpose of this research is to comprehensively examine the mechanisms through which prayer affects the lives of Muslim women and its impact on their lifestyle and overall health during the Coronavirus period. This study is a comprehensive analysis of Persian articles using reliable internal databases and Iran's official news organizations. The present review includes Persian keywords such as "women, lifestyle, prayer, narrative review, psychological perspectives, Islam." The inclusion criteria included clinical, experimental, cross-sectional, review, and hypotheses related to women and the Islamic lifestyle. Exclusion criteria included the presence of duplicate or inappropriate content in the publications that did not match the relevant topic. The findings of this narrative research show the important role that prayer plays in the lives of Muslim women. Prayer acts as a practice that strengthens social bonds and fosters inner peace under challenging circumstances such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Prayer facilitates relaxation, introspection, and emotional support, thereby enhancing women's well-being and performance as a strategy for managing stress, anxiety, and resilience while enhancing mindfulness and self-control. In addition, it examines the impact of prayer on women's lives through its impact on daily routines, moral behavior, and social relationships, and provides direction and perspective for personal development.

Abstract .In the last decade, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) has transitioned from being a movement disorder to a complex disease involving various factors, especially in women. These factors include increased sensitivity in internal organs, changes in the interaction between the intestinal nervous system and the central nervous system, as well as psychological and social factors. There is growing evidence indicating that a history of abuse and stressful life events play a role in the development of IBS in women. Research has also linked the clustering of IBS with social learning mechanisms and genetic factors. This review study focuses on female patients with IBS and, based on the biological-psychological-social model, examines health beliefs, exercise, stressors, and environmental factors.

Abstract One of the most fundamentalneeds of any society for its survival is the reproduction of the generations. The issue of women, as a vital part of human society, deserves the same level of scrutiny and deep analysis as the human condition itself. Any analysis of women's life dimensions, excluding gender characteristics, equates to an analysis of human life. Therefore, understanding a woman's status and dignity is essentially understanding human dignity. It is also indisputable that knowledge of oneself is a benchmark for other knowledge. Considering that half of the population consists of women, and they play crucial roles in various societal domains, including the family and child-rearing, which form the foundation of society, addressing women's issues as social and human capital is of utmost importance. If women shy away from marriage and childbearing, the population will decline, and the human race will face the risk of extinction. This study examines women, family, childbearing, and strengthening the position of motherhood from the perspective of the Holy Qur'an using the library research method and an analytical-descriptive approach. The findings indicate that attention to women's intrinsic qualities, gender justice, and social security in society can significantly impact childbearing and family dynamics. Conversely, the major obstacle is the adherence to feminist thinking, which can undermine the roles of motherhood and childbearing.

Abstract Violence against women and girls persists across all human societies despite differences in religions and other intellectual, cultural, economic, and social factors. It is a global, transhistorical and transcultural phenomenon with roots in the history of humanity. This consequence prevents the full participation of women in society and poses a serious threat to human rights and health. Violence has significant effects on women's physical and mental health. Despite extensive research on the consequences of violence on women's mental health, the prevalence of violence has increased during the COVID-19 quarantine period. This study examines the extent of violence against women and girls and its psychological consequences during quarantine. This is a descriptive-analytical cross-sectional study. The instruments used in this study include a Demographic Questionnaire, Standard Violence Against Women Questionnaire and the Hopkins Index (HSCL). Data analysis was conducted by SPSS 26 software. (P <0.01). Pearson correlation analysis revealed a positive and significant relationship between all dimensions of mental health and violence. Exposure to various types of violence leads to a decline in mental health across different dimensions. Violence emerges as a robust predictor of mental health in various dimensions. Considering the important role of women in the family and the impact of their health on family and community well-being, it is imperative to take measures to reduce violence and enhance women's mental health.
