Bipolar disorder, formerly known as manic-depressive disorder, is a mood disorder characterized by periods of depression and periods of abnormal happiness. Considering the high prevalence of this disease in women, the present research was conducted with the aim of evaluating the quality of life of patients with bipolar disorder type I in women under fifty years of age. To conduct the research, the individual characteristics of the participants were examined first, then the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire was used to evaluate the quality of life. The statistical population of the present study was 50 female patients who were diagnosed with bipolar I disorder based on the criteria of DSM-IV-TR and who had referred to counseling and treatment centers in Tehran in 1402 and were included in the study using available sampling method. Also, in order to compare this group with healthy people in the community, a group (50 people) was selected from among the companions of the patients and the staff of counseling centers and the results were analyzed using independent T-test in SPSS software. Based on the findings of this research, the quality of life score for the healthy group was equal to 78 and above the average level (µ=50), which shows that the healthy group has a better quality of life. On the other hand, in the patient group, the quality of life score equal to 36 was obtained, which is lower than the average level and indicates the unfavorable quality of life of the patient group. This difference was also statistically significant.
Manuscript profile

The present study aimed to determine the effectiveness of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) on sleep quality & aggression in girls with premenstrual dysphoric syndrome. This study was semi-experimental with a pre-test, post-test, and follow-up with a control group design. The statistical population consisted of female high school students suffering from premenstrual dysphoric symptoms in Tabriz in 2023. A total of 30 participants were selected through the purposive sampling method and randomly divided into two groups (15 people each). Members of the experimental group received their treatment in eight 1.5-hour sessions, while the control group did not receive any treatment. Both groups completed the 19-item Pittsburgh sleep quality and 29-item Bass-Perry Aggression Questionnaire before, after, and four months following the intervention. Data were analyzed using repeated measures ANOVA. The results showed that ACT significantly increased sleep quality and decreased aggression in girls with premenstrual dysphoric syndrome in the post-test. In the follow-up phase, the effect of this treatment on sleep quality and aggression was lasting. According to the results of the present study, it can be concluded that ACT can potentially enhance sleep quality and reduce aggression in girls with premenstrual dysphoric syndrome.
Manuscript profile

The main objective of this research is to investigate the impact of influencers' credibility dimensions, attractiveness, trust, and expertise on purchase intention in the skin beauty industry, considering the mediating role of customer engagement. This research is applied in nature and is a descriptive survey study in terms of data collection. The statistical population of this research includes users of skin and beauty services in Shiraz who chose their preferred center via social media platforms, specifically Instagram. Due to the large size of the population and the lack of precise statistics, the sample size was determined to be 384 people based on Cochran's formula, and a non-random convenience sampling method was used. A researcher-made questionnaire was used for data collection. In this research, structural equation modeling was used to test the hypotheses, and for this purpose, SmartPLS and SPSS software were utilized. The research findings indicated that the attractiveness and expertise of influencers have a significant positive impact on purchase intention in the skin beauty industry. In this context, customer engagement plays a mediating role in the relationship between influencers' characteristics and purchase intention.
Manuscript profile
