One of the most important factors affecting and decreasing marital satisfaction is marital conflict and one of the most important factors affecting marital conflict is self-efficacy and emotional intelligence. The purpose of this study is to predict conflict resolution based on self-efficacy and emotional intelligence variables. The research method is descriptive-correlational. The statistical population consisted of all married female students of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad who were selected by cluster sampling method and 150 women were selected from two faculties of literature and theology. Research tools included the Shering Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (Saffari Nia & Selgi, 2011), Sherer Self-efficacy (Sherer & Maddox, 1982) and the Kansas Marital Conflict Scale (Corcoran & Fisher, 2000). Data were analyzed using SPSS software version 21 and stepwise regression. Findings show that emotional intelligence with 24.6 and emotional intelligence with 32.5 self-efficacy had significant effect on conflict resolution (P <0.01). The results of the analysis show that emotional intelligence along with self-efficacy are able to predict conflict resolution in women. So it can be said that emotional intelligence and self-efficacy are effective in resolving conflict. Manuscript Document
